If people were smart, they would have jumped in the job market when those companies were facing huge shortages. Cats at some companies got a quick upgrade to management since there were so few candidates. Now, once all of this ends and everyone is rushing back into the market, companies will be able to apply downward pressure on salary due to so many competing for the same few positions.
