While I didn't care for all the 3s Wemby was shooting, I also looked big picture. Spurs weren't going anywhere at the time, so it was largely to develop. Get a lot of practice at shooting 3s in game situations so he becomes adept at it as a weapon. Especially considering his age, and build not banging inside until his body develops more. Now he's gone though another stage by working out with Hakeem. As a result, his 3 point attempts should drop considerably, however he still has it in his back pocket.
