I left there with three thoughts...

1) Jungle is the funniest niqqa on the planet...AT ALL TIMES!!!! :russ:

2) If you don't have Nas in your top 5 all time then :camby:

3) Niqqas need to stop making excuses for how bad rap is today. It is not a generational thing, meaning old style vs new style. Cats just don't care anymore. Few people are trying to do something groundbreaking when crafting an album. Another function of this microwave generation. :snoop:

1 - Id rather have a documentary on Jungle

2 - Nas is in my top 3

3 - Rap is not that bad - if you only listen to mainstream shyt it may seem so tho.

I hear what you're saying Breh but it shouldn't feel like a research project to find good rap. And to clarify I was mainly referring to mainstream and semi-known underground.

In fairness... "groundbreaking" is alot harder to accomplish in 2014 than it was 20 yrs ago... there's not much ground that hasn't been covered at this point. Every story's been told, every genre of music's been flipped... best luck you have now is to revisit things people havent heard in a while and convert it into something currently relevant. The canvas has been painted on a million times, only solution now is to paint the whole thing white and start again.

ur 3rd point shows how little u actually understand music and how much of a narrow point of view u have to even judge MUSIC critically :snoop:

1) I believe that
2) I don't care about other people's top 5's but he's in mine
3) I don't think lack of groundbreaking music is necessarily an issue, I think the problem is people don't even have the basics down anymore. Good cohesive albums are not done unless there's like a story arch now.
