I use to watch lifetime movies as a kid
Ricki lake
Lois & Clark
Sally
Jenny Jones...
In the heat of the night
etc.....

I seen
Waiting to Exhale as a kid
Juice
Rosewood
Boys in the hood
etc..
(only 1 tv hand cable on it aint have a choice)


Of course I watched kid shows like the Rugrats, Little Mermaid, Rupert, BusyTown, Power Rangers, double dare, wild &crazy kids etc.

I didn't turn out to be a bad kid. I never got in trouble in school or outside of school. I did well in school. And I'm not wild as an adult.

But when I think back at how old I was watching this stuff it makes me laugh

Yea I was watching crazy shyt as a kid like Menace II Society, Clockers, X-Files, Homicide: Life on the Street, etc...I was reading Stephen King and Dean Koontz in elementary school when I was 9, 10...really made me think about things I didn't want to think about at those ages, but they helped me alot as I got older...

One time, my mama went to Parent/Teacher Night at school.

My teacher allegedly told her she was worried about me.
I was a great student and she loved having me in class,
but sometimes at recess, I would take a book out to read,
or some paper to draw on instead of playing.

She was worried I might not be well-rounded if I kept that up.
