Master P was a muthafukkin fool for this...Took a page from Herm the year before and put alll these cats on one compilation back when a lotta of these names was HUGE out here in the Bay.....This shyt had my entire high school on slapp.

:salute:

I "punked" Master P on hollywood blvd back in the day. He hopped in a store I was at with my wife and her friend, and they were like, "That's Master P :krs:" and I said "I don't give a damn, he's not coming back to the bay and he needs to pay C-Bo" or something along those lines :lolbron:

WMe and P looked at each other awkwardly and he dipped back to his truck where an adolescent lil romeo was waiting for him in the passenger seat :russ:

Those West Coast Bad boy albums were classics though:whew: I miss those bay area compilation days :to:

This is the best No Limit album ever if you ask me :wow:
Everyone was talking about this album and I got somebody to make me a dub. :wow:
Officially copped the tape three years later, but it was the re release without Locked Up or Peace to Da Streets. :francis:

This is why I laugh when P is takling that bullshyt about 'I was putting out down south music... even when I was living on the west coast.'

No you weren't you were putting out Mobb Music up until you dropped Bout It Bout it and then that song was the basis for your whole southern sound. Even after he stopped getting tracks from E-A-Ski/IMG he was still working with west coast producers like K-Lou and DJ Darryl those are the 3 producers that helped develop that NL Sound..

First of all Herm Compilations was an Event in the Bay, you had to have them.

Compilations ruled the Bay in the 90's, I was in High School when Herm and West Coast Bad Boyz dropped.

But when West Coast Bad Boyz Dropped :banderas: we played that album out, walking to school, on lunch, after school, chillin in the hood, at parks, house parties, joy riding that album was our soundtrack
