he borrowed too heavily. I get paying homage but WWE ain’t no small time company anymore. I know yall getting tired of hearing all them damn RAW clips and skits on every song intro outro. I’d rather hear him promote his own shyt if it’s gonna be on there. Rather it not be there at all tbh. Shame he had to learn the hard way these corporations are not your friend

WSG is not some no name underground mixtape rapper at this point. WWE/TKO been waiting for the right time to finally tell Bro to knock it off

That being said, the kicking dude out after he actually bought an expensive ticket as a fan was ruthless :childplease:

See if we make an AEW agreement for the next 4th Rope jawn :wow:

They wouldn’t do that shyt to Post Malone or Jelly Roll.

Y’all keep letting these mfs play in your faces if you want. WSG doesn’t fit the right wing timeline they’re on right now. I would just drop all the WWE stuff from his music if I were him. They keep telling you who they are so believe them.

I don’t expect their indoctrinated portion of their fanbase to care about this.
this..these pfew years they’ve made it clear

These old school company attitudes to IP make zero fukking sense in 2025 - sure, if dude was selling Roman Reigns t shirts that could step on WWE's business but making music inspired by wrestlers and paying full price to sit ringside does nothing but good for WWE.

Same as these record labels striking reactions from YouTube. It's free publicity 90% of the time, but their IP conversations can only happen in 1990s legalese.

Meanwhile Trips was super chummy with Wale and doing skits on his mixtapes and even letting wrestlers be on Walemania.

The cease & desist stuff I get. A conversation and a deal can go a long way. If this is just over him being cool with AEW and having a side promotion that doesn’t even include WWE talent then it’s just petty. Everything Westside Gunn was doing Smoke DZA was doing with his Ringside EP’s and nothing from WWE. Go where you’re appreciated Gunn.

But when Gunn doesn’t have those WWE samples like he did earlier, it does lose something.
