Our ANCESTORS definitely went through through worse....most of you nikkas saying "we've been through worse" were born around when i was (i was born in 1990) :mjlol:

nikkas getting on the Coli talking about, "WE survived slavery, we have been through worse! etc" we're milennials nikka. WE haven't been through any of that shyt. THEY did.

Stop acting like you were there.:comeon: you haven't "survived" shyt compared to how stuff was back then.

The worst time most black milennials can even remember in detail is George Bush II,,,,and even that doesn't compare to what previous generations of black people went through.

There's a huge difference between them going through it and you going through it. We weren't even around back when shyt was "worse". You haven't experienced anything remotely like what they did (myself included).

You've got dudes who were born in the late 80s and early 90s going around talking about how "we" survived slavery, Jim Crow, etc :troll:

Breh these nikkas got luxuries that they don't even understand, and acting like they understand what previous generations of black ppl went through. You on The Coli, playing X Box, eating pizza and ordering sneakers off Jimmy Jazz, etc talking about "how can it get any worse, we already been through slavery, Jim Crow, etc!"

i hate when other milennial nikkas get on here and facebook saying "we been through worse"....you ain't been through shyt compared to any of that....if you actually think Bill Clinton, Obama, or even Bush II's presidency was something to "go through" compared to what other black people of the past did, it just proves you really haven't been through shyt....

It really is amazing how delusional many of today's youth are.

I mean to listen to some of them, you would think that it was 1920 all over again because someone is dropping racial slurs on their twitter feeds.

They live in a completely distorted reality.

My advice to them is to pick up Fredrick Douglass's autobiography. You'll get a reality check real QUICK when you read how life was for him in the 1800s. All of the slave movies made in that last 50 years simply cannot capture the inhumanity of his experiences. It's not even comparable to today.

It totally changed the way I thought about race relations. I can say with confidence, I've only been through about 1% of what they've experienced...or even that of my grandfather (born in 1918) has.

Born in 81. Black people my age can remember so many of our elders that we respected walking around like zombies needing their next crack fix. The height of the AIDS epidemic. Brothers getting locked up left and right. Higher murder rates than now

So many of y'all got that wake up call with Trayvon and Michael Brown. But I remember Rodney King and older black folks saying that was nothing new. None of this is new. I do know some of these cacs feeling bold right now but fukk em. That'll change when Trump doesn't do shyt cuz he doesn't give af about them either

Remember people suffering or dying from aids and crack. Lot of crime and police brutality. No black people had money. It was tragic. But obviously nothing can compare to the past.

Reagan was a horrible president. But i was young so shyt didnt feel that bad. 70s and 80s in nyc were much worse than it has been post 2003. I dont think Bush Jr was so bad though i traveled country to protest and was an activist in college. Because i had to spport equality and integration.

Whats going on right now is a lot of selfish attention seeking impulsivity on all parts. All Americans are entitled and priviledged people, though wealthy whites get it all and have it the easiest. If Trump doesnt unite it can set us back i believe. But i dont think it will be hell unless nuclear war breaks out and that wouldnt be Trumps fault.

The police brutality right now is misconstrued because people dont know history and take internet and news as truth. Its still wrong and racist and Trump is the wrong person, but social media aNd google ruined peoples sense, intelligence, and work ethic.

Mostly this country is spiritually bankrupt.
