Men in general take advantage of girls who aren't properly raised & supervised. I'm a teacher and have worked with teens who've been taken advantage of by dudes in the inner city. I'm not talking about the socially awkward, stereotypically white middle-aged pedophile who's dressed in a shady trench-coat. The dudes that do this look like you and me, dress like you and me, walk, talk, and act like you and me. But you think a desperate girl who's getting sneakers, clothes, & food is going to drop a dime on the predator who's giving her the business? And sometimes, the mom finds out, but you think a desperate woman is gonna drop a dime on a man who's giving her daughter sneakers, clothes, & food that she otherwise couldn't afford to provide for? This scenario may sound far fetched to some, but again, work in a classroom where the population are mainly kids from these environments & the stories you'll hear are more than even the most hardened adult can handle. Poverty, low education levels, and lack of self esteem allows these problems to go unchecked and fester in poorer communities. Again, none of this occurs in a vacuum.
Shoot, anyone who's West Indian knows this is a huge occurrence in the islands, and it goes back generations. Check out the Jamaican movie "Dancehall Queen" one day. It depicts this disgusting dynamic to a T.
