What about wearing the same outfit for multiple days makes your hustle better than the next man?

I associate this idea of not changing clothes with Prodigy.

lol yeah it's an exaggerated and probably overused line…but there truth in it, for a lot of these guys that sold rocks as kids, and would be on the block, and you know kids don't change clothes like that anyway, I'm talking like 12….Also, if you really been in it, you know you can get caught in the life, parties, hotels, fukking with the work, alcohol, women, and you just might be rocking the same shyt from Friday on Monday, coming out of a hotel room, using the courtesy soaps and toothbrushes…

I feel like Jay-z broke that trend by making it cool for hustlers to not do that anymore. It wasn't until 'Change Clothes And Go' came out that people started to change their clothes before going on to the next stop. It was around the same time when Jay-z revolutionized the button and the button up game.

"I gotta hit the field & grind like a sick slave, I wore these same rip jeans for like 6 days" - Ransom :banderas:

This song immediately popped into my head when I saw this thread

Its that same feeling when you were young and wore the same clothes to go ball in every day during the summer. What y'all niccas know about putting the same crusty boxers, socks and dirty ass musty shirt/beater on to the gym/playground every muhfuccin day? What you know about being so funky leaving out the house your mom's had to say something to you? Niccas could smell the love of basketball on you. I think I wore the same hoop gear for a month nicca. My socks and boxers were so stiff and crusty it was like a nicca sprayed starch on them bytches.
