What age did you feel grown up?

25 and 26 going thru a transition where im becoming more responsible and aware of my actions realizing i gotta step my shyt up... I cant use age as an excuse

About to be 27 ...Procrastination is starting to hurt badly... I can't waste days any more

When I was 17 and graduated high school. Went to college and no longer had a mandatory curfew. Could come and go as I pleased.

I made a lot of mistakes and did dumb shyt. But I was grown and had to own those mistakes

I had exact same answer. I went out of state for college, plus I played football so I was on campus a couple weeks before everyone else. That first night when I'm walking through a mostly empty campus and NO ONE checking for me, I can do whatever I please and ain't no one even going to notice unless I don't show up for weight room first thing in the morning, was some weird-ass feeling.

My parents couldn't help with my expenses either so I was also financially self-sufficient from 17 on and was making literally every decision about my life 100% on my own.

freshman year at UCLA day after move in day. my college fund was enough to cover everything in-state at UConn for 4 years. parents gave me a choice and said i could go out of state to UCLA and use that money 'til it runs out (which would have been 2 years) and then i would need to figure it out after that. so i started working part-time immediately so that 4 years of part-time work and being an-instate resident by my sophomore year, filing as independent, getting a pell grant based on my own income, etc. graduated with no debt.

My plane landed on January 16 in San Diego on a Saturday evening, and I reported for duty. Great feeling.
