College at 18, moved back in at 21, moved
out for good at 26. Been killing it ever since

23/24 technically, but there was probably a good year or two that I’d be gone most days or for weeks at a time. Came in one day, got into it about something, was told I could get out. Grabbed my clothes and that was that.

No kids for me, but if my hypothetical ones were being productive there wouldn’t be any forced time limit. My wife’s parents treated all their kids that way and frankly they all had a huge boost in life from it. They still be trying to tell us at our old age, y’all can always come live with us if you get tired of bills lol. I personally think most black parents of my generation put their kids out too early.
