What album turned you on to music outside of your city/state/region?

I'm from Texas, so growing up it was a lot of Scarface, UGK, Geto Boys, etc...So I really didn't know any other type of rap for a long time, but when I heard Eric B and Rakim "Paid in Full" and yes I heard it LONG after it was released, it opened the door to the east coast sound and it was a wrap!

What album did that for ya'll?

i was never too deep into texas (where im from origin) rap when i first got into rap. but snoop and the lox sure started me into this genre.
