- Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Airbnb.
Idk how anyone thought this idea would be good. As if greedy large landlords or wanna be hustlers weren’t going to capitalize off this and shorten the housing supply with all of these short term rentals everywhere. Lots of peaceful neighborhoods were attacked by Airbnb and their guest. Also after I saw my ex girl literally spying on her guest as well as my close friend who witnessed his guest having sex with 3 trannies I said nah. Can’t have people watching me walk around and stuff in an apartment.
It’s not the Uber of real estate because all Uber was doing was taking over the taxi companies. It wasn’t depriving anyone of having a ride home. Yellow taxis are notorious for being every selective and at least in nyc they barely travel to the other boroughs unless they going to an airport so comparing Airbnb to Uber was dumb.
