Random non-chain restaurants that don't specialize in steak, I guess would be the most apt description.
I've only had a couple steakhouse steaks. They were cooked well, but lacked seasoning.
You're right about pork chops. Unless they're smothered by a 97 year old black woman, they tend to come out dry.

Yeah that’s the problem, but I agree steak houses tend to want you to taste the natural flavor
I don’t know if you have a Perry’s steak house near you, but sweat to God they have the best pork chop of any restaurant ever.
.Ruth's Chris or The Chop HouseThey key to this is to order a well done steak from low tier restaurants like I Hop, places like that don't even hire cooks that know how to make a medium rare steak and that shyt will come out bloody everytime. An upper tier restaurant where the plates are $20+ for a steak will treat you right![]()

If you make it to Dallas, it’s a must try! Game changer you’ll hate every pork chop after. We don't have a Perry's in Phoenix. I just looked it up and that pork chop looks fukking delectable.
