Yup, you need to pass certain exams that are federally regulated like the Series 7 but no education requirements are needed.

Have you ever seen The Pursuit of Happiness??? Even the homeless can be a financial advisor as long as you are good with people and stay up on current events.

You're right but there is a difference between traditional education which teaches you, in large part, how to be a worker drone and self education which is truly the path toward personal prosperity and wealth...

Most Unions have paid training to start. $18hr minimum for 1st yr then your pay increases till journeyman status.

With certain trades just learn the business and get paid and then venture out on your own. You do not have to go to college and get a degree if you plan right and arent afraid to learn a trade.

my boy didn't finish college, and he works in the network operation center for a cell phone company doing telecom stuff. that job pays pretty well actually.

He loves it cuz he only works 4 days a week (10 hour days)
