I agree about him having better stretches before. However the "high percentage/stat padding" piece is a little confusing. Isn't taking/making high percentage shots consistently a good thing?

First thing that popped to mind was when Kobe dropped 65, 50, 60 and 50 in four straight games.

Jordan had a stretch in 88 or 89 when he had triple doubles in like 11 of 12 games when he was moved to the point. That's incredible.
