Sword of The Stranger (nice action scenes and violent)

Ghost In The Shell (however I can't really say you'll like it; it ain't for everyone)

Samurai Champloo (since you stepping of Afro Samurai)

.Hack//SIGNS (great looking anime but shytty to watch)

I don't really care too much for anime, but Paranoia Agent was one that I watched that I really like and it's only 13 episodes long.

Guardian of the Sacred Spirit (aka Seirei No Moribito). Is good looking as well but the action (which is good action albeit bloodless) is spread out in it's 26 episodes.
