What are the benefits of jailbreaking my iPad?

I've heard if I do it nulls the warranty of my iPad so I just wanted to hear some of the benefits of doing so before I went through with it.

Outside of Internet forums and finding movies and music online for free I'm not that tech-savy so if it sounds like a dumb question that's why

That ain't true lol. My iPhone is jail token and everything is in tact.

Jail breaking basically unlocks your phone, free apps are cool but for me the endless tweaks and customizations is where it's at. Makes the iPhone much better.

Apple really done care about jail braking. Couple times I took my phone in and told reps it was jail broken they gave zero fukks. I even asked one dude if I needed to un-jailbreak it when I had to exchange it for a new phone he said don't worry about it.
