I usually start off nice and then after the second no I put more base in my voice and then get curt. It's very affective.
I'm soft spoken and this dude was easily 3 times my size. On top of that he swooped into the seat right next to me in less than 2 seconds. It was 9pm in long beach and not a lot of people were on the train.

Usually I just pretend to be on my phone but my friend even said men are starting to not care if a woman is on her phone

I rarely have my phone out if I'm on the train, so dude cannot even prove I own a phone.

I think you should keep saying no until he gets it. If it's that serious and you get approached a lot, maybe getting a google number can help. If they call right then and there, they'll hear your voice on the vmail, but don't have the calls forwarded to your phone. He'll never have your real number.

Like having an email just for spam mail.
