Sitting on 5-figs of liquid cash and finishing my degree ASAP. For all the doom and gloom I recall going through in the years following 2008, the fact is some of the people who held their jobs the most were in very good professional fields. I am in IT and have years of experience so unless something absolutely cataclysmic happens, I should be one of those brehs to eat from the "K-shaped" recovery that is bound to happen. I just pay off my car and I have no debt.

Also learn new skills to increase income. I recently started learning a new skill with hopes to transfer to another component in my job that’s less stressful/more money

I have Zero debt now, for the second week in adult my life

Parking cash in a savings acct instead of dumping it into the market like I usually do.

I paid down all my debt last year besides my car note (only $170 a month), but I encourage all brehs to pay down any debt you can now. shyt’s gonna get real in the field.


Getting better at saying ‘no’ to shyt I don’t really wanna do but only going for social obligation.


Being more diligent about chasing down $ that’s owed to me. I came outta pocket for my dog’s x-rays that shyt was like 3k, pet insurance covers half of it but I haven’t filed the claim. Also been bullshyttin on an expense report for work, they owe me like 2k for a business trip I took, I just need to submit the damn report.

Go hard af at work so I make more money you don’t save your way into a different wealth class, you work your way there.

I got a li'l somethin' stashed away in cash/bank if stuff gets bad. Luckily, it's just me I have to take care of.

No debt at all aside from 'normal' stuff.

The rest of the family is also good.
