I have to say getting a career and having to cope with possibly getting laid off one day. Every one tells me stories about getting fired multiple times and its just part of life. I'm scared of being the provider of a family and always having the possibly of having no incoming income. Most divorces are income driven as well.

Yea thats the thing Im working on a finance degree now and the route everyone telling to take is corporate world but that life is so brutal. I rather get a career with more security and work my way up from there.

nah breh. continue to pursue a job in finance. Just work hard and politic harder so that you get where you need to be. It's tougher cause we're black though. I'm in accounting myself and I am happy with it...but dont see myself working for the man my whole life.

Good thing is that getting my CPA and gaining experience will always give me something to fall back on so :manny:. On top of that the things I learn will be applicable to entrepreneurship when that time comes. Cant lose.
