What are your experiences working in a female dominated environment?

It's absolutely awful

I don't know how I'm ever gonna adjust to this.

The whining, complaining, gossiping, drama, reckless talk, etc is just awful. What would be considered positive traits like staying out of trouble, not entertaining gossip, etc actually creates more tension in the work place. You come to realize that women do not know how to talk to grown men. I guess that's a skill they've never bothered to develop, but that's another thread.

Now you'll definitely come across cool women. They come with the mindset of coming to work & minding their own business. Surprisingly, they also hate working with women. Unfortunately, they are in the minority.

Conversations consist of kids, losing weight, & gossiping.

Share your experiences. How did YOU get through it? Would love to here the women's opinions on this as well.

one tried to really help me in my career in general but I dropped the ball in utilizing her help and expertise

I work in retail and most of my employees are females, I think I got a good bunch of girls because they're pretty cool. Of course we have a few that talk shyt about everyone but for most everyone gets along.

it was truly terrible... that was my first job out of university.

the cool women at work are incredibly cool, though and understand the bullshyt women be on in the office... but there's no middle ground, period.


i initially thought it'd be dope, assuming that women are nicer and friendly... never have i been subject to/witnessed so much cattiness and passive-aggressiveness... had to verbally ether one in the office... she was 20 years my senior too


the drama, backstabbing, gossip, the emotional instability at times (from smiles to devilishness) ... unrequited advances from busted girls. almost drove a nikka crazy

Horrible.
I tried in the beginning. I listened to their tales, sat there for hours on end when I should have been working, consoled them when they got bent over and dumped by one of the other coworkers, gave them dating advice, you name it.

Now I'm done with all of em.
I'm not wasting a gotdamn minute of my time on any of these whiny reject loser overweight females here.
