What are your favorite NYC neighborhoods?

Something I'm curious about, are the buildings in Washington Heights and Inwood mostly walkups like lower Manhattan or elevator buildings like the West Bronx?

I do a lot of activities that can be found at members-only clubs which are littered around UES, UWS, Midtown, etc. That's where you go to have fun, drink, socialize, party, workout.
If one doesn't have the social capital to access a members-only clubs or get invites to house parties, those neighborhoods can be boring.
If, in the instance, you are not into the tons of museums, galleries, restaurants, and retail shops close by.

That makes sense. With that being said my mother was a museum fanatic so as kid I loved going up there for the museums.

im from Cali but without a doubt NYC is the GOAT city. I need to bring my wife and two boys up there. that's one of the good things about moving to Georgia, access too so much more. Philly, Miami, NYC, etc

In terms of safety? In the daytime, nowhere really. Late at night, probably shouldn't walk around the side blocks of certain areas by yourself (West/South Bronx, parts of Central/Eastern Brooklyn)
