Usher musically has gotten underrated over the years. I never understood the whole abandoning r&b angle that some people seem to believe.

He was still working with Jimmy jam & terry lewis, pharrell, Rico love, etc

If some people listened to the actual albums instead of just the singles there's no way they could come to this conclusion.
