If you want to keep a friendship, I wouldn't do it. I have done something similar to this, not with a car but with a cellphone with a family member and it's not worth it. We almost fell out over it but we didn't. If I was you, I wouldn't do it. I wouldn't even do it for my brother, and I wouldn't let my brother do it for me.
