what attracts you to an artist's music ?

1. is it the sound
2. is it the style/dress/appearance
3. the rapper's flow
4. the way the rapper acts in interview
5. if people talk about the rapper alot or something

i feel that if an artist is unique, people will fukk with their music and shyt.

i remember when Chance The Rapper came out with Acid Rap, so many people fukked with it because it sounded different then regular rap records coming out. and it surprised me to know dude was from Chicago, and was rapping during a time when Drill Music was popping.

i know people who are bumping Raury because he sounds like 3 Stacks and claim he makes dope music that is different to the masses. he is from Atlanta, and sounds completely different from the typical Jeezy, Gucci, Migos, or Future sound

you got Dave East who people love because he raps in a NY flow, which people consider rare in Hip Hop right now. you got A$AP Rocky who sounds and raps with a NY flow but will use a Bone-Thugs flow that was not seen or heard of in a while or the sound he had, which was influenced by Houston that was once again not seen or heard of in while.

Um if the music is good :dahell: What the hell is all that extra shyt :what: How the rapper acts in interviews??? :dame::dame:

there are some people who might say that after watching an interview of an artist, that they look up the person's music and whatever. you even have people who might support the artist and buy his records if the artist presents himself as humble and shyt like that. i seen before, and it happens.

what artists do you tend to listen to ?
Tbh I have my phases. Sometimes I want turn up music, sometimes chill.

Right now I'm heavy on Currency, 21 savage, and Raekwon. The variety of artists is too wide to really pinpoint just a few, but those are top 3.

Living on the west coast where it's sunny every day, the song has to sound good with the top down

A great beat, hard lyrics, real spit

Usually the production. It has to sound good sonically. If you're a rapper with a mediocre beat, that already puts you on thin ice with me and chances are I'm not going to have any interest in your music.

Next up, I'd say the rapper's delivery/voice, flow, and whether or not they have charisma.
