@Motife43 I know you not doing no calf workouts :troll:

But the rest of The Gym, it's getting too hot for these workout pants. I've been wearing them out of respect for the rest of the gym goers, but I guess it's that time again to show these terrible calf genetics. :mjcry:

I'm sick of it!

What yall doing for calf gains? I'm going hard til 30 but if shyt don't go my way, I'm getting calf implants.

Im not a "gym freak" but arent calves the hardest place to add mass? Genetics play a big part, i have those chicken calves :mjcry:

I do at least 3 sets × 30 of seated calf raises, 5 sets of standing calf raises, at least 3 sets of 30 of calf pulls..6 days a week. Plus cardio. I was at 14 inches i think i gained a solid inch in circumference. Still got a long way to go :wow:

There are literally only like 2-3 calf raising excercises you can do, just different variations due to toe position.

I do about 100 standing calf raises and 4 sets of 25 standing calf raises with about 75lb dumbells at the end of every workout. Calves on the leg press machine is good too

I like the shouldered weight machine but you have to find a gym that has it. Sitting calf raises doesn't do shyt imo

Thats it really... I have leg issues and calf raises aggravates it.

Also sprints, plyometrics, and jump roping are good for building mass. Things that use fast-twitch muscles. Jogging and shyt will make it sore but wont build mass unless you have the genetics like some asians and shyt.



Also, this shyt belongs in the gym

Be Asian. Find me an Asian who doesn't have tree trunks as calves and I'll buy you a Ferrari.

But I do all standing calf raises and it tones it up but in terms of increasing circumference nada. It gets swole for a little then drops off like Whitney on the pipe.

If I'm on the leg press I'll do like twenty calf raises after a set. Sometimes I'll use the seated machines. One where you add plates and another where is the regular seated machine. Haven't used the standing calf raises for a while. Shoot sometimes I may be bored at work and start doing calf raises for the hell of it. It's all about your diet too. Can't expect to build calves if you have chicken legs with no meat on them. Calves are fairly easy to handle. Can work them out anywhere.
