Honda Civic is the best choice out of the three options.

Ideally an Si but all models will suffice as friendly-engineered cars for conscious drivers who don't want to sacrifice inspired motoring. The spirit of Soichiro Honda, Steve Jobs of the auto industry animates every product. Go for a VIN that starts with the letter J, made in Japan... Superior quality control.

Happy motoring

Get a cruze, new corolla and civic are very dull

The Cruze uses a torsion beam rear suspension! :laff:

Even though the original Civic came out in the 70's, it always used a four-wheel independent strut suspension system, still rare among FWD cars, later became the mainstream among Honda’s compact and midsize models. There's level to this.

The Civic was designed to satisfy markets around the world. The car blends beautifully in city scenes, moving swiftly through busy traffic.

Yeah , Honda civic are good , but the designs of the recent series don't really like. only designs which look decent IMO is 2005 design

want to spend 9k dollars max but can go up to 15k
OK. Don't go to 15K. That's like prepping to get reamed by a traffic cone, no lube.... financially speaking.

Get your financing in order via a bank or credit union before you buy. Don't use car dealership financing. That's like showing your cards to everyone while playing poker. If they know they can sell a car at $9000 even though you could haggle down to $8000, they won't budge because they know you can afford it. Kind of gay, but that's the game.
Corolla and Civic are good cars. Look into Mazda compact cars too.
