What caused Chuck to start throwing so much shade at Kobe?

For a long time I thought they were at least cool and then shyt just seemed to take a turn for the worst. Is it all about Chuck's relationship with MJ? If it is, the ironic thing is that MJ loves Bean and it makes Chuck seem like he is outta pocket. But every since around 2009, it's been outta control. Anything Kobe related Chuck will go out of his way to downplay him.

I remember in the 2010 playoffs, Kobe had his knee drained in that OKC series. Chuck buried that nikka on Inside the NBA saying he's old and will never average 30 again. Then Kobe averages 30 the postseason and they beat BOS in the finals.

Chuck has a beef with these older players playing well. Last year after the Spurs lost in the WCF, he outloud was wondering why is Duncan still playing and what is he trying to prove?

I'm like... Did you not see Duncan score 24 and get 17 getting buckets in the post like he always has?

I love Chuck, hes hilarious but I think he's jealous since he couldn't sustain that level into his mid 30s.

The stan wars are older than the coli, this shyt been goin on since the beginning of the post-Jordan era. Yeah at times nikkaz can be shell shocked and battle hardened from all the back and forths but Chuck legit be throwin salt any chance he gets. But I'm not gonna act like there wasn't a time he'd say "Kobeh Bryan is da bess playuh n da NBA, he da bess we gat."
