A+ certification is the basic IT cert.

CCIE(Routing and Switching/security/wireless)
CISSP
CCNP
CISM

cybersecurity related is good
PMP(i think is over rated because the market is saturated
do not go by them lying ass pay charts for them certs
them shyts be way over
what the average person really makes
some of them charts say u can make 70k with a A+ cert
when that is like a 15/17$ hr a position most places

I did a 3-year civil eng technology program but trying to get in IT now. So hypothetically speaking, once I get those certs how hard would it be to get an entry level job without a degree in IT?

Yeah there are people making money in the field only have certifications and no degree.
them degees dont really mean shyt
the certs set you apart
my degree dont got shyt to do with IT
but my background is IT/Communications/intelligence from the army
a degree period helps regardless of major
tho
because when i got out the Army one of the positions i had was as a Project Mgr and a degree was required
but not a specific major
so i got the job because of my background and the fact i had a degree
