What countries would you sugget to someone who has never been outside the country?

I wouldn’t recommend Belize due to the lack of nightlife.

San Pedro can be fun though. You get the island life, not too many people do you get the off the grid, everybody speaks English, and you can catch some tourists or locals.

I’ve never fooled with Belize City so I have no recommendations. I think you can have a good time in Belmopan though. A Thursday through Sunday trip. Thursday nights can pop and Friday and Saturdays will.

Yeah this sounds like a good one. I'm looking for those long weekend getaways moreso than the 2-3 week trips. And the flights look anywhere from 4 to 6 hours.

I would love to spend a couple months in Thailand, but that's later down the line.
