What degree of difficulty do you think it is to Day 3 draft successfully?

Honestly I think it's easier. These are your reserves and special teams guys. They aren't expected to do anything g but show up and fight.
It's so few guys on the board at the position of needs that you basically take the best guy you have ranked at a position that you haven't filled yet. Normally guys who are pure athletes or pure technicians

You know this is where the red flag guys will be.

..Is your medical staff on point, do you have a locker room that can handle the personalities?..

Day 3 is where the undersized, doubted guys from small schools will be... but a lot of productive good football players are just itching for a chance.

You really have to lean on your scouts and get players with at least 1 elite trait that'll translate.

True. At the same time though the later rounds produce a lot of stars though.

I think it’s easier since expectations are low so if you get someone serviceable it’s considered a big success.

1st and 2nd round talent falls due to Raw talent but not very cerebral, injury history, off the field stuff. You can find players if the staff does their homework.

Vikings got Hunter in the 3rd, Diggs in the 4th, Everson Griffen in the 5th. You can find some gems down there....

You just looking for a guy that has something but may not have all the desirables

he might be a lb that put up numbers but is under 6’0 or weighs 240 or less

Or a D/O lineman with quick shuttle but may be little or went to a little school

The kid that was D1 talent but transfers, or got kicked out

The kid that runs a 4.3 or lower

A good zone LB or DB

Pass rusher

Etc

It’s no pressure just who fits their needs or has a skill or two to build off
