off topic, Goodie Mob gotta be top 10 disappointing groups, dudes were so dope their first two albums, then they went left, then they broke up, and then cee-lo went pop...so much potential, cee-lo's first two solos, my hopes for Gipp as a solo artist, i needed just one more Soul Food/Still Standing type album from them

He might not have gone as hardcore but the soul is undeniable. It's only recently he's sort of fallen off but he's given enough in my eyes.

most outkast threads about 3stacks..i mention 3000 didnt do what cee-lo did..

git up get out n get somethin...industry started payin cee-lo notice..

then santana gave em a stimulus package..cee-lo became his own brand

clive davis..low key went behind the members back n gave lo his own deal...low took it...and ran... goodie lost their deal n went to koch..

arista did what jive tried to doin to outkast...which was blow andre up..give em a deal..he build off that..n drop big boi..

main reason that sat on sir lucious leftfoot..long as they did..

n when big left ...they made sure he gave up royal flush, the song with mary j..n other songs with 3000 on it..when he ended up at def jam..

jive stalled big's career music wise waitin to see what dre was finna do.. when dre said he was done..he was done..he worked when he wanted too..

i know i sound like a broken record...when it come to this..but dre saw what hey ya did to the group..dre refused to let the industry fukk up his friendship and family like..the industry did goodie mob..

it got to the point..where gipp n lo was at each other heads ...lo never spoke on the riff between the mob...

until cee-lo green is the soul machine...he responded..last time anything was ever said bout each other..

gipp n lo became tight..he made sure gipp ate every time he made a mil..

the industry kinda destroyed what cee-lo really was...since the bullshyt they did to the group backfired..n lo album didnt really do anything



when lo reinvented himself with dangermouse..for gnarls barkley..they treated cee-lo like he was brand new artist...funny his shyt sold overseas before the states got it..

still funny..same label that didnt know how to market push the greatest imperfection album..dre damn near made the same exact album..n they didnt wanna push that...but it went diamond n got a gang of awards..
