I don't know if you're trolling or not, but if you aren't, Cole meant that Nas shouldn't judge him for making "Work Out" when Nas himself has made radio-friendly records. "You Owe Me" was a radio song off Nastradamus, an album that everyone considers to be Nas' worst. Cole says that Nas has been in that position before, needing to make commercial records to sell units so he thought he would understand the point of "Work Out." It wasn't an artistic statement, just something Cole needed so his debut album could finally drop.

Nas responds to this directly on "Made Nas Proud," talking about the difference between the freedom an artist has on their first album and the pressure/expectations they have on their fourth album (Nastradamus was also Nas' fourth album).
