What do people think of Kid Cudi's "Man On The Moon 2: The Legend of Mr. Rager"

In light of his recent release, I've been revisiting Cudi's old discog. What do you people think of MOTM2? We all know how great MOTM1 is, but in my opinion MOTM2 is only a hat below MOTM1. Cudi evolves as a songwriter, and the album for the most part is much more cohesive and he's more focused. The thing that held it back was that there were a couple of average/garbage tracks scattered on the album, and it was mood music for the most part so you couldn't pick it up and just listen like MOTM 1. Plus it didn't have enough classics on there to put it on a higher level.

aside from the single w/ kanye, great album overall. i almost find it hard to listen to its so depressing. the new album isn't bad either but clearly his music as suffered since he went solo.

I fukks with MOTM2.

MOTM is classic to me, MOTM2 isn't that far off. I like how he made MOTM2 darker and more psychedelic then MOTM.

All Along and Marijuana were my only tunes. I will go back to it eventually but Indicud is too good to put down right now

MOTM2 was a much Darker album than his previous release which kind of took me by surprise but at the same time I loved it. The production is crazy and I felt like it was cohesive and it showed an improvement in his song making abilities. A lot of people slept on this, at times I think its better than MOTM1
