By the way, the 1st gen Altezza never had a 350 variant, only a 200 and 300. It wasn't until the 2nd gen that the 250 and 350 came along.

1st gen was kind of ugly to me. The 2nd gen was my dream car right after I got out of college. I remember I went on an interview for a job paying 55k back when I thought that was a ton of money. The whole ride home I was fantasizing about the is 350 and how much the payments would be 
Sadly once the g37 and 335 started embarrassing the is in all the motor trend type road tests I fell out of love with it
They retain good value tho and I think the new gen is sexy as shyt.

there is no 1st gen 350. 2nd gen is when they started the 350. yes they are sleepers at 306HP with good torque and will smoke a lot of cars no problem right off the lot. lexus put a phenomenal transmission in that thing. upgraded headers, midpipe, catback will get you some more power.

I thought that's why you moved down south so you could have a lift and the time to pick up hobbies!
2006-2008 IS350s are fukking sleepers breh, completely underrated. 1st and 2nd gears so aggressive which is why you can get at ~5 second 0-60 with some good tires. Plus the interior is pretty good for that generation and the ride is smooth.

he should've been able to get 4.6 - 4.7 easy. he did mention his tires slipping in 1st and 2nd.

FWD and a boring driving experience imo. I'm biased towards rear wheel whips though.

You can't be serious right? The IS line is RWD, the 2nd gen got an AWD option with the refresh I think. The only car in the Lexus lineup that's FWD is the ES. I've read that the ES isn't worth it since it's just a rebaged Camry/Avalon.
Well shyt, it looks like i've been wrong about them this whole time. I always thought they were fwd and would overlook them anytime i came across one. I also had a bad experience in one on night, so i think that always jaded me towards them too.
