What do y’all think about an ADOS parade/pilgrimage?

I understand the reasoning OP but I don't think we need any more festivals and parades at the moment.

Slavery was the vehicle that brought Africans to the new world..it still is not whom you are, nor does slavery define you.
Cacs came in through Ellis Island, but they dont really care about all that. They dont celebrate pilgrims and the hardships they endured when they arrived. They celebrate the achievements after.

I hate these slavery and independence celebrations Blacks love to pull. shyt is embarrassing and keeps reminding us of a time when the devil kept his foot on our necks and tried to destroy us.
