For me, it's quite possibly The Wire. Mad Men is ridiculously strong right now though. It's very likely in a season or two it might be a "GOAT-worthy."

Hour long dramas? The Wire gets the top spot for me. All time regardless of format? I fukks with Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Life's Too Short has me cracking up too. Wouldn't put it up there with the best though.

a guy who has the gift of bringing dead ppl back to life. a private eye discovers that talent and puts it to use. they bring ppl back to life to ask them who killed them then solve the crime to get the money

it gets a lot deeper than that though. you'll know within about 3 eps if its your thing

Seinfeld, but damn near every show HBO has made is a close 2nd from Sopranos to Game of Thrones. Even Veep is pretty damn good and it's only 2 episodes in.

breaking bad will be cemented in my top 3 when the fifth season ends. game of thrones rose up in the ranks quick. they can do no wrong in my eyes.
