As far as your last paragraph, Durant is a fraud who needs screens, RW to spread the floor (he wasn't efficient until RW joined the team), and free throws to get his efficiency. That's why he gets punked by players half his size (CP3 and Tony Allen). He can't tie Kobe's shoes.
As far as LBJ, anyone can put up efficient scoring #'s when they can't shoot. Tyson Chandler shoots a higher percentage than Lj for the same reason. Lj needs wide-open shots, dunks, layups, and mismatches (a poor defender would also count as a mismatch) to be efficient. If Lj had to shoot from the perimeter with good defenders draped all over him, like Kobe, he wouldn't score. Lj is less than 50% from the field for his career. This is pathetic for a dunker/layup guy. That's an elite jump-shooter. In Lj's last season in Cleveland, he shot 45.1% from 5-9ft and it was only worse, the further he was from the basket. Every year of his career, a large majority of his fga's came from within 5ft of the basket. Whatever will he do when he's no longer fast, athletic, and strong enough to drive like he can now against younger players? Maybe the refs will help him for as long as they can, like they do now. here to read about it). He won't even shoot the ball when 'Melo (a guy his size) is guarding him. Same story when Kawhi is guarding him, or even when Tayshaun Prince is guarding him. Of his made shots last season, 67% of them came from within 8 feet. That means only one third of Lj's shots are on the perimeter. Moreover, Lj got more efficient playing with Wade and Bosh. Also reminds me of how when AI started playing with 'Melo, that's when he got efficient. This is why (just like KD) Lj gets punked by players half his size (Terry, Kidd, and Barea, etc in the 2011 Finals). I posted videos in this thread where he got punked by Kobe himself. Lj can't tie Kobe's shoes either.
Wade can't shoot either. Jordan is the greatest scorer of all time; he's no where near the most efficient. Kobe is not inefficient.
