What do you do when you work under somebody you're obviously smarter than?

but since hes your superior, he has the power to fck up your raise/job advancement prospects...

If the money is good I wouldn't care. Most bosses are methodical and reliable. Having high intelligence doesn't mean you're capable of leading.
