I don't know why you nerds keep going on about this 60fps crap. I have yet to notice any difference between 30 or 60 fps. I'd rather they invest more assets into better animations and player models than making it higher fps. That is the least of my worries.

Now I see you skirting around the issue. The fact most next gen launch titles have looked basura is on the developers and artists. The folks at 2K are showing us that the hardware is plenty powerful enough to produce visually that are incredibly more advanced that what we saw this gen. And this being a launch title of 2K. I can only imagine how incredible this game will look in 4-5 years when next gen matures fully.
Just look at these gifs and tell me you don't see this as a MASSIVE LEAP forward. Diminishing returns my ass!!!

You've found 1 single game that looks "almost photorealistic" when all throughout this thread, you were talking about CG and Avatar, that was until reality came crashing down and these machines are having trouble rendering 1080/60fps.

First of all, I don't know or care about 60 fps. I have yet to notice any difference between 30 and 60. To me 1080p and 30 fps is perfect and every PS4 launch titles seems to be hitting that as far as I can tell.
Second, my points were made about HARDWARE capabilities. I never expected every dev team to put out incredible visuals immediately. The folks at 2K prove my point about the exponential increase in hardware capabilities. These consoles are 16x more powerful than their predecessors and 2K is showing us what that power can do. And this is only a launch title.
I can't imagine what the end of this gen holds. Remember I said we would be approaching Avatar graphics by the end of THIS GEN, which should be around 2019. 2K has validated my belief that we will be seeing incredible almost photorealistic games by then if next gen progresses as much as this gen did.
Why are you talking about graphics if you can't notice the difference between 30fps and 60fps
You don't know anything about the hardware capabilities doe, and sure in a close up replay where you blur out the crowd the game will look "almost photorealistic" but when you pull the camera back and get a shot of the crowd repeating itself every 10th person with about 700 polys per individual the immersion and "almost photorealistic" will go right out the window.
I don't care when you're expecting "Avatar graphics" from the PS4/XB1, these machines are not even remotely capable of it. All anyone has to do is go back and read the insane shyt you were talking about in this thread.

forget Avatar by 2030 we should be plugging into the Matrix.........the era of games on screens is about to end this gen......next its VR then it'll be straight neural implants........just look back 20 years ago and look how far gaming has come......in 20 years NBA 2K14 will look like pong in comparison to the shyt that'll be coming out then
PS4 does 1.8 teraflops and 8 GB of RAM. If Moore's law continues to progress as it has for the next 20 years, by 2034, the PS7 will do 1.02 petaflops (thats as fast as the fastest supercomputer just 5 years ago) and have 256 TB of RAM. Imagine what could be rendered with that much computing power. You would be able to recreate worlds as detailed and immersive as the Matrix with that much computing power.
