Read the thread from the beginning and you'll see it transition from everyone :salute: Rock for a job well done to feminism, political campaigns, cuckolding, 20 year old promos and all kinds of random shyt :heh:

Why the fukk would he be the exact same way he was in 99 and 2000...what's the matter with u? What star in any genre is like that? You talking about the most legendary promos in history to a segment where he's surrounded by lesser talent and lazier workers..video game kids.
It's a whole new generation. The Rock is a pioneer. He knows how to adapt with today's market and still maintain his old school traditional values ie: family

:manny:not to say that other wrestlers aren't like that

he's on a higher level is what i'm trying to say.

he knows how to play the game. like mj:mjpls:

he knows how to stay out of the shadows (WWE)

I think we all can learn something from this :to:

:sadbron:spend time with your family, brehs, while you still can

It was a highly enjoyable and entertaining segment.

From creative's standpoint, I do wonder if he mentioned everything they wanted him to. I feel like he got sidetracked by the cosplayers but it was entertaining so it worked out.

I mean he only promoted WM on the WWE docket. Everything else was just him interacting with stars and putting over New Day and the Usos. I was wondering last week..you never see or hear Rock mention the Usos. Lol. Like EVER...so they resolved that this week.

THe Rock knows better? He came back doing whatever the fukk he wanted to do. What's anyone gonna do about it? Brad hasn't gotten to the Rock's level..who cares what he does or how he does it. He's not a major commodity in the United States. He's basically an ant. No one even cares what he has to say. LOL. Vince nor Cripple H is gonna say ONE fukkING THING to the Rock over any of his promos. But you knew that years ago when he came back in 2011. That's common sense. They had Cena try to talk hard to the Rock and he had to apologize the very next week like a bent over prostitute caught in the act:laugh: That's the difference between being a trailblazer and being a follower.

I basically agreed and you argued the point that I just agreed with you on? You high bruh? :why:

Where in the fukk in my post did I say the Rock should have been like he was in 99 or 2000. Just letting it be known that I don't think his promo was as great as it would have been back in the day and don't think he was anywhere close to his best like a few have tried to say in this thread. Again the Rock is better then anyone doing it now but I wont believe he's back to his old self just cause a few do. Sorry if you don't like MY opinion but that's what it is MINE.

So you just want to bash him then. You basically said he wasn't like 2000 Rock...we could of told you that 12 years ago. LOL. No big news. He's a whole different type of cat compared to that...and the Rock is above and beyond the term "his best" because he's who everyone copies and tries to be like.

I was listening to Cheap Heat with Rosenberg and I had this face :martin: while he was over analyzing every part of the promo, he straight up said he aint like it:camby: He was all like the backstage part wasn't necessary and the crowd interaction part was wack and he aint really say anything funny and I am like:mindblown: who on the roster could have pull close to anything like that off? @Reggie I see you agree.... Here is what made that promo great to us, his ability to control the crowd, the fact that we were all glued to the tv the whole 30 minutes, how rare it is that a promo is that interesting or that I care that much to hear what he had to say... What I am saying is it wasn't what he said it was his delivery his ability to go off script and still be entertaining.. I think you guys that didn't like it, are being to critical, this aint the attitude era he cant say what he really wants, I think he does a good job of getting his point across while following the new rules for the most part

Watching on hulu...

Honestly, it was not good at all. Maybe it picked up with the New Day segment but I didn't even get to that point because the backstage shyt was so PAINFULLY CORNY that I actually had to turn Raw off and watch something else. He's like a completely different person than the classic Rock promos. I don't know what this was but it was bad.

Nobody except New Day, because nobody except New Day (and Cena) are even allowed to go off-script. That's what's holding back a lot of talent.
