All kinds of stuff. Some of it may be racist. Some may not. You have to understand that some people may be more comfortable speaking in their native language
While we're on the topic It's always funny to me how in America, a country with so much diversity that people get so nervous and curious about what others are saying when they speak another language. Just the other day i got in an elevator with my homegirl. A group of people (3 of them 2 dudes one chick) walk into the elevator just as the door about to close so she and i switch to speaking creole because .. the conversation was of a personal nature.
So i keep th conversation going and say a few things and she laughs and these clones out there thinking we talking about them talking about
- Dude#1: "well why cant ya'll say whatever it is to our face?"
- Me:
- Me: "because our conversation is personal and really none of your business"
- Dude: "well this is america. Speak English!!"
- Me: Well I am speaking english to you because im addressing YOU but when im addressing her i a conversation that has nothing to do with YOU i can adress her in any language i want."
- Dude#2: Man we ya'll know y'all be talking about people and shyt.
All 3 walk out tohgether while the girl they were with says something as she walks out but icouldnt make it out
