What do you think Nintendo’s next system or Hardware update should be?

I think the “Switch Pro” Should just be a non-portable update, not next gen. This way games can work between the 3 sku’s, the lite, the og switch, and the pro model. At his way, people (like me) who never play their switch portable can get a dedicated nintendo console that can run 1080p and 60fps consistently. It should like a series s in terms of power.

There are too many nintendo games that suffer from the fact that the switch is bottlenecked do to it being essentially a handheld. Hyrule warriors runs like dog poop, docked and undocked and even worse in multiplayer.

We want BOTW 2 in a modern day resolution with modern day frame rates.

Their next system should just be an evolution of the switch. They should build hardware into the dock itself that would give the system extra power in docked mode.

That could work also, because as of right now the dock is just a glorified tv adapter. There’s no technology in it.

Aside from regular power updates:

-I play a lot in portable mode so I wouldn't mind built in Bluetooth for wireless headphones

- A revamped online infrastructure is needed

- They will never do it but a 3DS slot would be flames

I'm also curious to see what a Switch XL would look like

It would n be great to see Nintendo have a current system that isn't massively underpowered, but I doubt it will ever happen. That, and them making the same games over and over again, are why I haven't played a Nintendo console since the OG Wii.

Could they just update the dock?
but I would like 4k, Bluetooth compatibility, more USB ports, and allow storage to be put into the dock

A non docked upgraded version would never work because devs wouldn't develop around it. Every version would run the same.

It's the same reason why I don't think the Xbox Series S will work out in the long run

Nintendo needs to work on making new IPs and being more creative with their current IP

the system is fine, the software is lacking

They could sell an enhanced dock so newer "switch 2" games could be played on the old switch in dock mode only, and also have a "switch 2" on the market with better hardware and a sister apu built into the dock to help push a dynamic 4k resolution output.

There's alot of possibilities with the next switch but I dont think Nintendo will take advantage.

well if they do the dock and exclude og switch games it essentially a next gen system. They could simply expand the tech in the dock to just upscale and increase framerates. It still doesn't solve the 3rd party problem though if games still gotta work on the vanilla switch.

not really sure. Also, we gotta be realistic with the jump in hardware. Right now the switch is still 360/PS3 level, considering BOTW is still a last last gen game. How they got the witcher 3 to run on it is nothing short of a miracle.

I don't see a new switch being anymore powerful than a PS4 Pro
