So yea... what the question says. I learned so many things here first (I mean some of them may have been on Reddit first, but Reddit is much more cluttered).
It's become much easier to see how ignorant some people are (and it especially allows me to see certain biases that people have that are based on their life experiences, or lack thereof). I also get to see the hard-headedness amongst some of the posters, and due to age their opinions may never change.
The recent "thread to make people laugh" in the locker room is really key. The one in JBO where you just "post a random pic" has elements of it, but it's at least 90% porn, so it makes it difficult when you're trying to find something to just laugh at real quickly.
The wrestling forum is the only one that I ever visit online. I got a feeling that the other ones are probably too corny.
The "six figures six certs"-type of info is usually good and less reckless than what's posted on Reddit.
As far as making the site better for myself, I think I should just use it less, so that I'll value it more. Also, I know there's been a debate for years about opening up registration. I think that it can work, but there may have to be a cap, and maybe polls put up for when it comes time to ban a new member that got out of line (but it should reach at least like 90% of the posters saying that the person has got to go).
Happy New Year everyone.
