What does HNDRXX flopping mean for Future's career going forward?

Since the release of Monster there has been an astronomical demand for Turn up, Trap Rap Future.

He has met this demand for 2 years straight and has been rewarded for this music in ways I don't think he could even have imagined.

Future has been making music like HNDRXX his entire career and I feel like he has been wanting to put out a record like HNDRXX for quite some time.

But, Nothing from HNDRXX has popped off and the album has basically fail off of the charts.

Will we ever get another R&B masterpiece like HNDRXX from Future or was the signal loud and clear that people want Future to Rap?

Every now and then Future tries to do the R&B thing and it always ends up flopping. Whenever he gets out his lane it's a disaster... remember when he was with Ciara he was doing shyt like melodic, slower shyt like 'I Won' and flopping hard. His career was basically dead before Metro and Southside helped him rediscover his sound. I think my he likes writing R&B/slower groove joints so he'll dip his toe in once and a while but it might be as a writer for another artist...nobody wants to hear Future on some R&B shyt.

Not a fan of future at all but I thought mask off was doing well on the charts. Seems that song is popping, how well did the album sell?

Nothing's popped because Mask Off is being pushed. Give it time :hhh:

Mask off is doing that well because of fandom for that song.

Future pushed Draco and Supper Trapper (:mjlol:) from that album

It's currently 88 on the charts

I was looking at the top 50.

88 is pretty bad for an album that just came out this year and was #1

wasnt it number 1?
From #1 to #88 in a couple of months is pretty unprecedented.

I won was :trash: tho

Metro and Southside are all over HNDRXX

But you are right and its proven out the public does not want to hear Future on R&B shyt
