What does it mean when people say "prayers up"?

I often hear everyone say this but I doubt they go home after their busy days and actually follow through with prayers

Positive vibes for those who subscribe to the idea of the christian god. I'm not religious, but I still put it out there from time to time. I don't follow through with an actual prayer though lol
