Its absolutely nothing..but its a step up from being the intern, studio intern gets to chill in the studio (So far Ive worked with the nikka in your avy and a bevy of A list artists, Drake, Rihanna, Lil Wayne, Lady Gaga) and get them everything they need, extra chords, a soda, but you do it free. As an assistant engineer you're not actually touching these A list artists records but you are on the way up and you are being paid out the A list artists record company's pocket. $18 an hour. I'll have it by mid May next year

Far as i can tell, "going to the studio" is a code word for drinking, smoking, playing video games and hanging out - but not making viable music. Thats what every nikka i know in "the studio" seems to accomplish.

You'll never be a Drake, Kdot, etc. if women dont like your music. Go to an concert, I went to a Lil Boosie concert 85% women, Rihanna concert 98% women. Ed Sheraan (or however you spell it I only went cuz I was invited last minute) 85% women. We're the biggest music consumers for every genre except folk.
