What does "Pushing Them or Testing them" mean?.....NBA question ..

I keep seeing "Damn no one can push them or test them"



I seen when he was with the heat and he was down 3-2 with the celtics was that not being pushed?


Or when bosh was out and they was down 3-2 same thing right?

or when the bulls was up last year i think...

or when they was down 1-0 in the finals with the thunder



Or you mean beat them which happned last year im not sure what this means


i was told the pistons would win or grab a game and the hawks would not get beat like they did last year.
