Too many fukking games

I’m lowkey mad that I dont have time to binge games like I want to , they need to hurry up and implement a three day work week

I got to get out the rat race somehow

The only games I've bought but haven't beaten are Resident Evil 4 and Last of Us 2 on PS5. I'm about 8 hours into each, will probably finish RE4 at some point (might just save it for Halloween).

Last of Us 2 I copped for $10 so if I never get around to it then it's not much of a loss


Internet FOMO is 90% of the reason why most people have backlogs these days. No reason to buy any game full price unless you intend on playing immediately. I don't like the idea of stacking up some huge backlog because then it feels like some chore/obligation to get through because you already spent money on the game weeks/months ago

I haven’t bought a full price game in years, my issue is the games I be wanting to play be on sale for cheap and these is games I wanted to play when they first came out

For example re7 right now is 15 dollars and I’ve been wanting to play that shyt

2025 is the year i try to get through this backlog. trying to platinum this panzer dragoon on PS4 but the last trophy requires 100 hours of play

I copt persona 3 reload, played 15 minutes and realized i never want to play another persona game for as long as i live

Getting back into gaming more this year as last year the only game I beat was P3 Reload (no DLC). It should be finishing up Rebirth soon though at least.

Horizon Zero Dawn. I finally unwrapped the game after buying it in 2017.

Forspoken. Still yet to unwrap the game.

Jojo All Star Battle & Eyes of Heaven. Despite owning ASB on PS3, I have yet to play the game in PS4/5.

Toejam and Earl 3. I bought this game in a sale. Never played it.

Sifu. A game that I started but never finished.

Guilty Gear Strive. See above.

Hitman HD Collection. I used to play Absolution to death on my 360. Playing Hitman 1-3 then going back to this, put the game back into the backlog.

Tbh, my backlog is there because I don't feel compelled to finish games.
